Configuring the cluster
1. On one of the servers, in the Server Manager, expand the Features.
2. Click Failover Cluster Manager.
3. Click Create a Cluster.
4. Click Next.
5. Type R710-1, and click Add.
6. Type R710-2, and click Add.
7. Click Next.
8. Click Next.
9. Click Next.
10. Click Next.
11. Click Next.
12. Click Finish.
13. Type MD3000-Cluster and uncheck the 192.168.131.1/24 and 192.168.130.0/24 checkboxes.
14. Type 192.168.1.102 for the Address.
15. Click Next.
16. Click Next.
17. Click Finish.
18. Click Enable Cluster Shared Volumes.
19. Check the I have read the notice above checkbox, and click OK.
20. Click on the Storage menu option under MD3000-Cluster.
21. Click Add a disk.
22. Select all five disks, and click OK.
23. Right-click the MD3000-Cluster and select More ActionsÆConfigure Cluster Quorom Settings.
24. Click Next.
25. Select Node and Disk Majority.
26. Select the first disk, and click Next.
27. Click Finish.
28. Click Cluster Shared Volumes.
29. Click Add storage.
30. Select all the disks remaining, and click OK.
Creating the virtual machines
1. Expand the roles menu item.
