Mini PCI Card



1. Follow the instructions in "Preparing to Work Inside the Computer" to remove the battery and prepare the computer for work.

2. Remove the keyboard.

3. If a Mini PCI card is not already installed, go to step4. If you are replacing a Mini PCI card, remove the existing card:

a. Disconnect the Mini PCI card from the attached cables.



b. Release the Mini PCI card by spreading the metal securing tabs until the card pops up slightly.

c. Lift the Mini PCI card out of its connector.



CAUTION: Before performing the following procedures, read the safety instructions in your System Information Guide.

NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such

as the back panel) on the computer.
