The
SNTP Global Settings
page contains the following fields:
Poll Interval (60-86400)
— Defines the interval (in seconds) at which the SNTP server is polled for
Unicast information.
Receive Broadcast Servers Updates
— If enabled, listens to the SNTP servers for Broadcast server
time information on the selected interfaces. The device is synchronized whenever an SNTP packet
is received, even if synchronization was not requested.
Receive Anycast Servers Updates
— If enabled, polls the SNTP servers for Anycast server time
information. The device is synchronized only when a synchronization request is sent from the
device.
Receive Unicast Servers Updates
— If enabled, polls the SNTP servers defined on the device for
Unicast server time information. If the
Receive Broadcast Servers Updates
,
Receive Anycast
Servers Updates
and
Receive Unicast Servers Updates
fields are enabled, the system time is set
according to the Unicast server time information.
Poll Unicast Servers
— If enabled, sends SNTP Unicast server time information requests to the
SNTP server.
