Removing an OSPF Interface

Defining OSPF Interfaces Using UCLI Commands
The following table contains the CLI commands for defining OSPF interfaces.

CLI Command Description
ospf Creates an OSPF routing process on an
interface.
ospf area
area-id
Defines an interface area ID.
ospf enable Activates OSPF on an interface.
ospf priority
number-
value
Sets the router priority, which is used in
electing the designated router for the
network.
ospf hello-interval
seconds
Specifies the time interval between hello
packets the software sends on an interface.
ospf dead-interval
seconds
Sets the time interval during which hello
packets must not be sent before neighbors
declare the router down.
ospf retransmit-interval
seconds
Specifies the time interval between link-
state advertisement (LSA) retransmissions
for interface adjacencies belonging to the
interface.
