Using Dell ULNM with VMware for ESXi Server 4.0/4.1/5.0

This section provides an operation quick reference information for using the Dell ULNM with VMware

for ESXi Server 4.0, 4.1, and 5.0 after installation is completed. More detailed operation information is

available beginning in Chapter 3.

Remote access (for VMware ESXi Server 4.0,/4.1/5.0)

From a remote machine, you can type one of the following URLs in a Web browser:

http://<name or IP address of VMA hosting Dell ULNM>:4679/

https://<name or IP address of VMA hosting Dell ULNM>:4680/

Configuration

When started, the application automatically performs a discovery using the “Quick Scan” option for

the following UPSs:

• Networked UPSs through broadcast within a few seconds (Optional H910P Dell Network

Management Card).
