Removing the Speaker Cover

Replacing the Speaker Cover



Removing the Speaker Cover



1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin.



2. Remove the system board (see Removing the System Board).



3. Remove the seven screws that secure the speaker cover to the chassis.



4. Release the two tabs that secure the speaker cover to the chassis.



5. Follow the instructions from step 3 to step 9 in Removing the Display Bezel.



6. Remove the speaker cover from the computer.

Replacing the Speaker Cover



1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin.



2. Secure the two tabs on the speaker cover to the slots on the chassis.



3. Align the screw holes on the speaker cover with the screw holes on the chassis.



4. Replace the seven screws that secure the speaker cover to the chassis.



5. Follow the instructions from step 5 to step 11 in Replacing the Display Bezel.


