Use the
switchport general allowed vlan
command in Interface Configuration mode to add VLANs
to or remove VLANs from a general port.

vlan-list
—List of VLAN IDs to add. Separate nonconsecutive VLAN IDs with a
comma and no spaces. Use a hyphen to designate a range of IDs.

vlan-list
—List of VLAN IDs to remove. Separate nonconsecutive VLAN IDs with
a comma and no spaces. Use a hyphen to designate a range of IDs.

tagged
—Sets the port to transmit tagged packets for the VLANs. If the port is added to a
VLAN without specifying tagged or untagged, the default is untagged.

untagged
—Sets the port to transmit untagged packets for the VLANs.
Default Configuration
Untagged.

User Guidelines
You can use this command to change the egress rule (for example, from tagged to untagged)
without first removing the VLAN from the list.
Example
The following example shows how to add VLANs 1, 2, 5, and 8 to the allowed list.

1,2,5,8 tagged
switchport general ingress-filtering disable
Use the
switchport general ingress-filtering disable
command in Interface Configuration mode to
disable port ingress filtering. To enable ingress filtering on a port, use the
no
form of this command.
