The AX4-5 support website where you accessed these release notes also

contains the most up-to-date documents and troubleshooting trees.

The AX4-5 Series Documentation CD (P/N 053-001-992) that shipped with

the storage system also contains documents and troubleshooting trees

for this product; however, they are superceded by those on the AX4-5

support website.

The troubleshooting trees on the AX4-5 support website are updated

frequently.

Documentation updates

This section contains updates to AX4-5 series documentation.

Update to AX4-5 Series Documentation CD (P/N 053-001-992)

If you are viewing the documentation CD on a Solaris server, the pdf

files may not open directly from the index.htm page. You can either save

the pdf when prompted or you can view the pdfs from the AX4-5

support pdf folder.

Update to the Fibre Channel storage-system installation guides and the HBA

addition or replacement guides

In the “Verifying HBA registration” section, the first sentence in the

second bullet in step 2 should be:

If the status is Inactive, either the physical connection between the HBA

and the storage system is faulty or the server is not powered up.

Update to the iSCSI storage-system installation guides and the NIC or iSCSI HBA

addition or replacement guides

In the “Verifying NIC or iSCSI HBA registration” section, the first

sentence in the second bullet in step 2 should be:
