Description

This command is used to configure a TACACSserver for management users.

Syntax

Command/Parameter Description Default

wlan tacacs-server

Configures the TACACS server profile. -

ip <IP-address>

Configures the IP address of the TACACS

server.

port <port>

Configures the TCP port for the server 49

Configures a shared secret key to authenticate

communication between the TACACS+ client

and server.

Configures a timeout value for TACACS+

Usage Guidelines

Use this command to configure a TACACS server as an external authentication server. This configuration applies

only for management users in Instant and not for the other SSIDor wired profiles.

The following example configures the TACACS protocols:
